At first glance this painting seems an everyday snapshot
of a girl and her dog on the beach. On further inspection it becomes
more disturbing as we notice that they are both looking anxiously out
of the picture, the sky seems to be getting dark and at her feet lies
a bucket with dismembered crabs claws spilling onto the sand. Behind
them is a sandcastle with a Union Jack flag on top.
( I have since changed this painting , now only the girl and the dog remain.) |
